DONATION TO RADY CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL SPECIAL NEED’S CLINIC

 

At the Health Expo, SDAHU presented our philanthropic partner, Rady Children’s Hospital Special Needs Clinic with a check for $16,000. This was made up of cash and in kind donations.  Our members have been generous with their support, donations, caring and love.  We do make a difference in the lives of medically fragile children.

SDAHU HEALTH EXPO/ SPECIAL NEEDS CLINIC SILENT AUCTION

 

This year’s Silent Auction was a tremendous success. Over $3,000 was raised for the Rady Children’s Hospital Special Needs Clinic, our philanthropic partner.

Our Health Expo. guest speaker was former NFL great, Brian Sipe, quarterback’s coach at San Diego State University.  He was so moved by the work we do with the Special Needs Clinic that he donated his entire speaker’s honorarium to them.  Brian has not only proven he is a man amongst man at the highest level of football, but the kind of man we are proud to call a friend of SDAHU.

SDAHU will again participate in the 4^th Annual SeWorld Shamu & You Family Walk for Rady Children's Hospital.  Last year we had 96 walkers and raised almost $6,000 for the Special Needs Clinic.  If you, a family member, friend or fellow worker, would like to walk for this wonderful cause WE WANT YOU…  Please contact Gail James Clarke at (858) 883-2486 or Joel Marcus (760) 804-6233 for more information.  If you would like to be a team leader who will help recruit other walkers and donations, Gail and Joel want you to call them.  Last year over 3,000 walkers were at SeaWorld and this year there should be over 5,000.  Don’t miss out on a great time for you, your children and grandchildren.  Admission to SeaWorld, after the walk, will be at ½ price.
