 SDAHU will again participate in the 4th Annual SeWorld Shamu & You Family Walk for Rady Children's Hospital. Last year we had 96 walkers and raised almost $6,000 for the Special Needs Clinic. If you, a family member, friend or fellow worker, would like to walk for this wonderful cause WE WANT YOU… Please contact Gail James Clarke at (858) 883-2486 or Joel Marcus (760) 804-6233 for more information. If you would like to be a team leader who will help recruit other walkers and donations, Gail and Joel want you to call them. Last year over 3,000 walkers were at SeaWorld and this year there should be over 5,000. Don’t miss out on a great time for you, your children and grandchildren. Admission to SeaWorld, after the walk, will be at ½ price.

As we come to the end of another year I'd like to thank all of you for being such a dedicated member of SDAHU. Being a member of this association has given so many of us a whole new circle of friends that will be cherished for many years to come. It’s interesting to watch how our membership changes over the years as new products and services are brought to the market. What always seems to amaze me is that when I go into the luncheon meeting every month I see a handful of faces that I don’t know, but I also see many people that I’ve gotten to know over the years. Even though we all have our separate roles in this industry we tend to look towards each other to get through some of the same challenges. I find that there are certain members that have weathered the storms over the years and have been a stronghold in our industry. These are the people that have set up their membership renewal on auto-renew and update their credit card on file like clockwork. This special group of members has never received a call from a retention chair and most likely has never missed a meeting. Please acknowledge the following members that have been with SDAHU for over 15 years. These members were honored at the June EXPO on June 17th at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel:
